Then the careful work: toenails trimmed straight and smoothed, thickened nails reduced patiently with the right tools, and rough, dry areas softened gently with a file — never carved or razored.

We finish with lotion worked into feet and lower legs — which most clients rank as the highlight — and polish if you would like it, from classic colors to clear. You leave with feet that fit comfortably into shoes and a little spring restored to the errand list.

Caution Is a Feature, Not a Disclaimer

We want to be plain about what a salon pedicure is and is not. This is cosmetic and comfort care, delivered gently — it is not medical treatment, and we do not pretend otherwise. In practice, that means:

• No razors, no carving, no cutting skin. Calluses get softened and gently filed, never sliced. Aggressive removal is where pedicures go wrong, so we simply do not do it.
• Ingrown or troubling nails get referred, not excavated. If a nail is painful, embedded, or looks like it needs more than trimming, we will tell you kindly and point you toward a podiatrist. Working near a problem is not the same as treating one.
• We look, and we speak up. If we notice a sore, a color change, or anything on your feet that seems worth a professional’s eyes, we will mention it and leave the assessing to your doctor.

The line is simple: we do the safe, gentle, cosmetic work excellently, and we hand anything beyond it to the people trained for it.

If You Are Diabetic, Read This First

Diabetes changes foot care, and we take that seriously. Please check with your physician before booking — many doctors approve gentle salon pedicures; some prefer that certain clients keep all foot care with a podiatrist, and that judgment belongs to them, not to us.

When you do book, tell us you are diabetic. We adjust accordingly: cooler, carefully checked water; extra-gentle filing; wide margins around anything questionable; and zero aggressive work of any kind. What we offer diabetic clients is a cautious, comfort-focused service that stays well inside the safe lines your doctor would draw.

The Accessible Setup

No throne-climbing here. Our pedicure setup is built around an ordinary, comfortable chair that is easy to reach — we bring the basin to you instead of you to the basin. Wheelchair transfers are simple and assisted whenever you want a hand; parking sits directly at the door, and the floor plan between the two is flat and walker-friendly.

Caregivers are welcome throughout the appointment. Slots run long by design, so lifting feet in and out of the water happens at your body’s speed, with breaks whenever the hips vote for one. Many clients pair a pedicure with a manicure for a single unhurried appointment that handles hands and feet together.

From Sun City and Beyond

A large share of our pedicure clients come from Sun City Lincoln Hills, where active feet earn their keep — walking groups, pickleball at the lodges, golf at Catta Verdera. Comfortable feet are infrastructure for that life. We also see clients from Twelve Bridges and downtown Lincoln, and folks up Highway 65 from Rocklin and Roseville who found us through a hair appointment and added feet to the rotation.

Pedicures run $40–$60. Straightforward trim-and-polish visits sit at the low end; thickened nails and extra smoothing time bring the price toward the top. As with everything here, the number is stated before we begin and holds at the register. A standing pedicure every four to six weeks keeps feet consistently comfortable — ask about a regular slot.

Booking

Call and book, and mention anything we should know: diabetes, blood thinners, neuropathy, tender spots, or simply that it has been years since anyone took proper care of your feet. None of it flusters us. Comfortable feet change whole weeks, and we would be glad to be the reason yours improve.
